I loved the premise.

Drop the viewer in the middle of a modern Civil War by following a group of photojournalists along a road trip through the hellscape.

Some intense scenes. Great music and visuals. Some great acting and some terrible acting (the young journalist).

I just thought the ending fell flat.

I'm not sure what movie the posters saying the journalists were heroes watched though. I certainly didn't view the journalists as heroes.

I didn’t think it went too far in that direction. They were sort of just “people that want to watch the world burn”, like when Joel (? Pablo guy) said the sound and sights of mortar fire on American soil got him rock hard.

They would have done better with another established female in the younger girl role.

None of those guys saw the movie, they watched a YouTube clip of another guy who said he watched the movie and told them what he interpreted in the movie, which was all nonsense. But it feeds into a preexisting bias so why let that stop a good time
