You don't make American citizens fight to keep their citizenship. If you're talking migrants however, I am ALL FOR mandatory military or civil service for two years to earn citizenship.
The crazies that are homeless Americans need to be thrown in newly resurrected looney bins.

Ukraine can use them like Russia uses the prisoner units that are basically sent out to take fire and expose positions.
