Yes, credit card companies and banks have been slowly but surely updating terms of service to remove items they don't like.
It's dumb to use LSU as an example, but a cashless society has massive issues with using banks as defacto 4th amendment end arounds.

I know the card companies and banks have been doing this, but then wouldn't the answer be for the vendor to push back and encourage more cash sales?
