That’s literally how the league is going.
And Giddey not needing shots nor the ball in his hands is perfect for OKC because they can run the offense they want which is SGA centric. Now can they upgrade Giddey? Sure, but JV is not that upgrade, and they have plenty of picks to get anyone they want to upgrade that spot, plus they have bene pretty good at drafting

Chet is not a guy whos frame will put on much weight. Hes not their long term answer at center and with his skill set would be better at power forward. They’re one of the worst rebounding teams in the league with Chet at center- thats not sustainable.
Except Giddey struggles shooting the 3. If you noticed he hardly got any minutes late in the game for a reason. They actually traded for Hayward so he would take Giddey minutes. This is like a big talking point- Giddey is an issue for them.
