I don't know if I can say that I've hit the 'justify the price' point on the pasta maker attachment from a purely economic perspective (I've got the roller one, not the extruder), but it's a blast to use and I'm still glad we have it.

I'm assuming this is a slightly better version of the stock beater that came with ours? One that can help do a little more scooping around the bowl. Ours came with the dough hook, wire whisk, and beater (looked ceramic coated.)

I do suppose that's fair. $70-$90 for parts that I should assume last a very long time if not used too often does seem like a worthwhile investment. Maybe it's something we can add on later.

I do know for a fact that I enjoy the idea of making homemade burgers and grinding up beef for dishes that I want to try out.
