Who remembers when the brand was called Structure?
I member.
I thought it was Structure was for men and Express was for women. Owned by same company.
Then Structure became Express Men
Then it just all became Express

I used them for a while when I still had to wear dress shirts to work, now I can wear my fishing gear to work

Yeah, that was it. I used to buy stuff from there in the 90s in high school and college.

People who shop at Express are the ones who today are big into Fast Fashion.
Express really isn't Fast Fashion, and to the extent it is, places like H&M are kicking their rears.
Men who wanted traditional men's clothing (which it had when Structure was a seperate brand / store) have moved to other traditional men's stores.

Malls are dying in general. I imagine that most stores that have traditionally relied on malls and shopping centers to service their core business are going to struggle
Some of the proposed buyers / financiers here are mall owners.
It's an interesting concept. If the malls own the retail companies, can they cut out enough levels of expense to keep the wheels moving for a few more years?

I see more of this happening. The large majority of people under 35 never get out of their pajamas these days.
