There is lying and being a liar. And then there is another level that allows a person to say things like this with a straight face.

The thing to remember, with regard to politics, progressives, the Left, etc., is this:

We always make judgment calls through the lens of our own morals and values, forgetting that they have none.

We think "lying is bad, but they do it anyway."

They do not think lying is bad, as long as it furthers their goal.

Killing you to achieve their goals isn't an acceptable evil...to them, it's not evil at all.

They do not violate moral constraints. They do not have morals to begin with.
