The best thing that’s ever happened to car dealerships is a lease. They get back a 1,2,3 or 4 year old car, low mileage, great shape, well maintained. They certify it, sell it, profit! I know, my friends and relatives own 11 dealerships in the BTR area.
When looking, you have to be ready to buy, a good deal won’t last long.
Another problem, the folks walking across the border, think they still walking? They are in the same market looking for the same car you are. Best of luck.
Subaru does make a very dependable car, just saying.

BMW especially went all in on the lease. They plan on being able to sell a good majority of their cars twice.
