My question is what did the husbands think the point of a "girls" trip was exactly?

OH yeah, my wife and her friends are going to Jamaica and they are going to sit in their room and drink and only talk to one another. Stupid.

If your wife is going with her "friends" on a trip and they are indulging in a bar type atmosphere you are simply not respected as a man or husband. Its really that simple. I will catch blowback for this response but its true.

It's an entire subculture where these woman feel like they're overwhelmed with kids, husband, and life in general. These kinds of trips are like being single again. Pretending to be single leads to single lifestyle decisions, like screwing some rando dick.

I've seen girls groups hanging out by themselves, not looking for anything other than a good time with their girlfriends. But inevitably, dudes see those groups, especially older married chicks, as a challenge. So you still have the formula for cheating in place.
