"In Marvel Comics, the character of Orwell Taylor has appeared alongside Venom before. In the comics, Taylor is an ex-general of the United States army and develops a grudge against Venom after the symbiote kills one of his sons.

In the process, Taylor creates a group known as the Jury, who’s main mission was to bring justice to Venom. In the comics, the group wears suits of armor designed around the infamous Iron Man costume, although they fail to stop Venom in any meaningful way."
