Few trade downs. Don’t care about immediate need

Powers-Johnson is your new starting LG

Hall Jr immediately joins your DT rotation. Smith plays in certain packages, with upside to be a thing in the coming years

The Yale sits while we throw Penning to the wolves at T.

Penix is there for when we get tired of Carr

Jaheim Bell

quote:

Since 2014, Bell has led all Power 5 TEs in *both* career yards after the catch per reception (9.24) and career missed tackles forced per reception (0.38)...

Can also line up at RB and WR

Tyrone Tracy is WR turned RB. Getting some David Johnson comps from draftniks

Cedric Johnson and Devonshire are getting buzz, probably not available where I got em.

I didn't realize just how bad we've been at YAC until watching a NOF podcast the other day. We have been toward the bottom of the league for a few years now. Need to have a guy with some YAC ability, even if it's a TE. And all this talk about Bowers at 14 has just made me realize how much we need a receiving TE.

I still like Johnson, but he severely disappointed last year relative to expectations. Could be injuries, could be his chemistry with Carr, but whatever, we've got to get more production out of that position in the passing game.

I like double-dipping on OL in the top 61, even if I don't know much about either one. Also like taking a DT in the 2nd. We desperately need to upgrade the depth at that position with some youth. I like Maason Smith at 87 there as a project, too.

Would also love to get Penix in the building at 73. With his age and having played so many college games, I think he could oust Haenor and become the backup. I just really think the best use of cap money/roster space this year would be to have Heanor or a seasoned rookie win the backup job and only carry Taysom as the 3rd, emergency QB. Don't want to waste a roster spot or any cap money towards a less than mediocre backup.
