They have the country’s largest urban park, it’s a pretty cool hike through a rainforest.
Most of the city isn’t homeless camps contrary to the narrative.
Also hit up one of those fancy donut shops. Portland takes donuts to a whole new level.
As someone else mentioned, the Pinot Noir from Oregon is some of the best in the world. Ideal growing conditions.

if one goes to the Portland area and doesn't partake in the pinot's from that region- they're missing out.
Visiting some of the wineries around there needs to be at the top of OP's list of things to do.
