I don't believe any competitive college athlete would not want one more year tp continue their career unless they are leaving for a professional opportunity. Gymnastics is virtually the only college sport where careers end with their final collegiate competition. We have seen almost every LSU gymnast with an extra year of eligibility return for another year since Covid. Unless she has a desire to attend medical or law school it is highly possible Haleigh strongly considers one more year. If it is an issue of the wear on her body given the heavier workload as an all arounder they could treat her like an aging ball player who is selectively placed in the lineup. She could cede the hammer role to Konnor, Alleah and Amari while saving her body for the post season. Meanwhile her NIL deals would expand..

I don't know how much they make, but I know 3 gymnasts that have done this and a few divers that have either gone to Cirque or gone on to be in shows in other countries.

One of the Cirque ones is around 35 now and still a performer. I think she's in "O". She went to circus school in Canada for 3-6 months to learn what they do. It's not just Vegas. They have stationery shows in other places and also travelling shows as well. (FYI, the reason I know this is that my daughter, no pics, was a gymnast for a lot of years and ended up as an NCAA diver.)
