Supporting Ukraine is the smart play.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm gonna go with only more death and destruction.

Death and destruction in Ukraine and Russia? That's your worry?
All the while, our play in Ukraine will directly dictate future aggression to Taiwon?

Ukraine is a human shield. And that is a role that they are presently/actively pursuing. Which is good for us.
It is infinitely less expensive to help defend Ukraine than to militarize all of Ukraine's borders as a future defense strategy. There is absolutely zero benefit to the world with a Russian occupation of Kiev.

Plus... if we can help Ukraine hold out for the next election, we can provide an opportunity for Trump to be the arbiter for a peace deal.

The majority of this bill (80%) is replenishing our military stockpiles and continuing to send old tech/weapons to Ukraine.

6 months from now that 60 billion will be just a faint memory.

I agree.
The Ukraine spending is a drop in the bucket for our budget.
If you are against spending on Ukraine, I haven't heard your outrage to leadership (i.e. literally removing politicians who status quo the budget) for the rest of the budget.
So you don't really give a shite about Ukraine spending. It is just the next twitter hot political button (until the next one takes its place 6 months from now). Outrage is an internet fad.

If we are giving them "obsolete" weapons, why are we spending 60 billion dollars?

I know Im a silly goose, we have to replenish our stockpile......well wouldnt that come out of the 854 billion dollar budget, or, are you saying we did not even plan to replace the old stuff in our budget????????

By the way, when they say we are replenishing our stock, they mean our stocks that we gave them in Ukraine, they arent talking about inventory in the US. And its 24 billion. Plus 14 billion for new Patriot systems (which certainly are not "obsolete" and neither are the aforementioned 24 billion in missiles for Patriots).

36 billion of 60 billion is not "the vast majority", so where is the other 24 billion going? It says administration and economic social programs, oh thats what I tell the bank when I want a loan.
