Actually, the Saints had a pretty good tight end that year named Henry Childs, and he was a relevant part of the offense. The Saints offense in '78-79 was one of the league's best. Defense, especially in '79, was more of an issue.

Freaking Chuck Muncie 1979. Even had a TD pass that year! Dude was Derrick Henry before Derrick Henry.
