I don't even think they have to be attractive. The WNBA is the NBA on steroids when it comes to politics.

Hell, I watched a clip of Clarks press conference yesterday and the team owner had a rainbow flag shirt on.

But to your point, she's an average looking girl thats a 9 when compared with the WNBA roster.

Tennis players are usually pretty hot. First round elimination at the US Open will make $80k… because it gets eyeballs and ticket sales. WNBA doesn’t get either.
