Jay has developed plenty of guys. It is one crap season and people just can’t wrap their heads around it. Jay has also developed plenty of the guys you actually listed.
What top teams aren’t also relying on stud transfer? Most are. LSU just missed on them this season. They usually hit on them. If we just hit on Montgomery we are likely 4-5 SEC wins richer. Instead A&M has the number 1 ranked team right now.
Frey hasn’t been the same since his injury. Some blame SEC pitching, but he did look much better prior to injury.
Travinksi is okay, but I didn’t expect him to be a stud.
Kling has struggled, but it happens.
