TV now is a shitshow compared to what I grew up with and have enjoyed watching over the years.
So many shows that were popular in the past could not be made today with the amount of "this is so insensitive" people in the world.
Watch almost any older western or popular sit-com from years ago on TV today and they usually come with some disclaimer/warning that "The material depicted in this show may be sensitive to some viewers and depict an antiquated view of the world" or some such similar crap.

Ah this old narrative, 99% of the shows you talk about have nothing on some of the streaming shows
