Used to be a higher end restaurant around here. My dad took me to dinner when I got my first real job out of college 30 years ago. Now it’s a ghetto joint.

At one point in time, North Baton Rouge used to be the prominent area of town to live in. Today, it’s a shite hole and for me, Baton Rouge essentially stops at the I-10 exit towards Lafayette.

I am sure the same can be said for many cities. And restaurants.

There is a certain element of the population that largely in part accepts no responsibility for their actions, doesn’t possess good work ethics, wants something for nothing, and is dependent on the government and others for a hand out. And this element of the population perpetually repeats this cycle with each generation and it only gets worse and worse every time.

Who can remember the original Red Lobster and its location in BR? I seem to recall it used to be located by Cullen’s Playland in between Airline Highway and Florida Boulevard on the service road.
