Trap. Then kill with a .22 and/or cats.
A few years ago, I spent well over $5k in the span of a handful of months due to squirrels chewing up vehicles. 3/4 ton Chevrolet sensor twice, got into my Tundra ac and nestedhad to have the dash pulled and chewed up heat shielding and tried to nest under the air filter in my 05 Z71.
I went straight murderous. My wife was spraying and praying with a 12 gauge, me with a 22 taking pot shots, traps and 2 cats that are indoor/outdoor.
I hardly have any squirrels that leave my woods now. I must have killed over 50 in about a year.
