ULM used to be NLU and was the Indians.They won a 1-AA Natty with Stan Humphries.
Now they arethe ULM Warhawks..
The name was chosen in honor of Maj. Gen. Claire Chennault, a Waterproof, Louisiana resident. Chennault commanded the American Volunteer Group of pilots during World War II, whose Curtiss P-40 fighter planes were dubbed "Warhawks." per wiki
They have worn these:bad boys.
