Fickle? Try being a fan since 1995 in the Charlotte era. This franchise has never made it past the second freaking round in the near 30 years I have followed them. The forced a series to seven games twice during that span which are the two best seasons they have ever had. They lost both game 7s at home.

It would be crazy not to be at least somewhat cynical especially with how many injuries they have suffered through those times when things seemed like they were starting to click during the applicable regular seasons.
