For the most part absolutely. But 3 kids is hard man. They test your resolve, patience, and relationship.
Nobody is going to be the same in that situation as when you’re young and single and don’t have a ton of cares and responsibilities. I don’t begrudge any minor changes. I’ve probably not as charming as I was 20 years ago either
