I had a 1998 Dodge Dakota that I dove for 6 years. Put over 100k on it and never did anything to it but change the oil and tires. It still had the original brakes, battery and everything else when I sold it.
Granted, I was commuting a lot from Nola-->BR so a lot of highway miles.
