The ending of Caine Mutiny between Jose Ferrer and Fred McMurry was totally awesome.

One of my favorite movie scenes ever.
It adds a great degree of depth and nuance to the movie. He basically undoes the entire plot by tearing apart the mutineers, their motives, and defending Queeg.
