Why did they rule at this particular moment? Don’t kid yourself. It was political. Just like Pence and Graham aiding the Dems in bringing abortion front and center. It worked for the midterms so they are doubling down on it.

A lawsuit was filed a long time ago. It's not really possible to time something this perfectly years in advance. They said to go through the trial court and an intermediate appellate Court I believe prior to even getting on the docket with the state supreme court.
The ruling was very pro social conservative and I don't know why social conservatives aren't owning it. This is what you wanted and you have to live with the repercussions.
