The OP was about it being noticeable...someone mentioned allowing 20 random people roam about your house...20 additional people in 3000 square feet would be noticeable, 20 million in 14 billion square feet is not as noticeable...I did not bring area into the conversation, someone else did....

It is when they're doing the equivalent of only hanging out in the den or kitchen (i.e. population centers).

Yeah, if they went out into the wilderness in Appalachia no one would notice.
