Weren't they Christians who formulated our Constitution and entire governing system based on biblical principles?
Sure. They made a law that all had to follow Christianity. There will be no blasphemy and no taken the name of the Lord thy god in vain. It’s the law that young virgins may be raped so as long as you pay the father the bride price. We must kill all adulterers, stone rebellious kids, and stone queers and witches. I think there’s a law stating we can’t cook a young goat in its mother’s milk, and that clothing cannot be made of mixed fibers, and that you can’t touch anything a menstruating woman has touched within 24 hours. Our founding fathers set up a theocracy based on a divinely annointed king! Makes sense!
