re: How would I navigate stocking catfish for a fishing rodeo?

We have about a 3 acre pond, and we'll put 2-300 channels in it before the rodeo. It is pretty well maintained throughout the year, so putting the catfish in before the rodeo just gives me some peace of mind that the kids will catch some fish. We don't keep them corralled, we just hope that turning the feeder off will have them all hungry enough to bite the 50-60 worms in the water that morning.
