You are incorrect, mate. I will never forget the moment that I saw the famous painting inside the Pantheon of Paris as a young lad. I stood, transfixed before the giant "Le Martyre de Saint Denis" at the entrance of the grand lobby. My Mother wanted to pull me away immediately, but my father (an artist himself) calmed her and explained that St. Denis was an important figure in France and Paris, and that we would later visit a beautiful church created in his honour. In the painting, Denis is instantly beatified and the halo actually appears on his decapitated head. In the upper right hand corner of the piece, you see an Angle of our Lord racing from heaven with an additional halo of golden laurels, ready to spirit off the fallen Christian to everlasting salvation.
After about 15 minutes of staring at the work, even my Father grew a bit concerned and decided to lure me away with a macaroon d' chocolat, and the seven-year old SirWinston overheard he and my Mother whispering about how odd my reaction to the painting had been.
.
P.S. I forgive you for calling me a "moron", as it is the Christian thing to do.
ETA: There is ANOTHER Christian who has received a halo at the bottom of the steps as well after his beheading and even the executioner is taken aback at the spiritual wonders of Christ almighty.

I can't think of anything more conversation-worthy than to be seen in polite company, de-capitated and carrying my own head that has a Halo (!) around it (my own de capitated head!)
People in my social circle would be talking about that day for YEARS.

If I ever witness a beheading (God forbid), and I see light shining where the head was, and see the arms of the body picking up the head, I will be out running ANY WR in the NFL.
