re: We should start wearing purple at home again in football

I'm not in favor of us wearing it at home, at all. I grew up watching LSU football back in the 1960s and if we wore purple at all, it was always on the road. And that's the way it should be-- I know that in more recent times opponents, namely Florida and South Carolina under Spurrier, Miss St a few times, and Kentucky have put us in purples for road games. And THAT, baws, is tradition!

If there were some way we could wear them for all road games, that would be cool. But, they're traditionally NOT our home uni (other than that 12-year-long NCAA mandate), and that, my friends, is the natural order of things.
