My wife's dog gets really clingy.

I had an older dog that was bulletproof when he was younger and suddenly he started freaking out during thunderstorms. He had a tumor that was affecting his brain. One day we got home and he had torn through a couple of the interior doors during a thunderstorm. He'd never done anything bad before that other than sneaking on the couch every now and then.

I conditioned my lab to gunshots when she was a pup so she doesn't even seem to notice a storm.
