I do think a high level of off ball movement was seldom used in the 80s/90s. Sets today are much, much more complicated. There are 30 more three point shots taken today per game than there were in the 80s. Guys could barely provide help defense in the 80s and 90s. It was non stop iso ball and 2 man games.
