My view is that the decision be left to the woman, her faith and her doctor (at least in the first trimester).

Is completely abdicating your "principles" a principle?
I guess, perhaps.
Although, I'm not really surprised you included some wiggle room language there, either.
Does either stance put you in a good position to be slamming someone else about their seeming malleable principles? Probably not, but I understand you would figure out a way to slam that guy for saying today was Tuesday.
