Nobody is saying do away with basic math and sciences like algebra and physical science. What people are saying is stop pushing kids into trigonometry, physics, and advanced English literature.
If a kid is not showing interest in the college route by 15, put them on the track to have skills such as the ones mentioned above. Give them the base education, but don’t push them to ACT prep

This is very reasonable.
Many people dont want desk jobs when they are done with schooling.
