Then COVID happened, and the right was the side calling into question the vaccine, and that has led to an interesting and rare switch-team from both sides when it comes to all vaccines.
Amazing how fast the political pendulum can swing. For a long time, up until 8 years ago, it was the Democrat party that was associated with conspiracy theorists – old hippies saying "it's the MAN man" and fringe X Files weirdos. Now it's the Republican party that has the title all wrapped up.
MAGA has even stolen the "evil globalists" narrative from the Democrats and run far with it.
