I'm not saying I am superhuman.

I'm saying that I would NEVER let my child/spouse/friend be taken from right in front of me knowing that I had every chance to intervene. My relationships with people are very close and I would do anything to protect my family and friends. Once you're in that car, you're fricked. Nothing good happens after that.

Letting a perp leave with someone I know... WE ALL KNOW how those end.. rapes, etc. I would not be able to live with myself if I let them be taken and something horrific happened like that.
