I don't buy that when they have more PGA Tour presence than ever. And a huge presence of the Korn Ferry.
Knapp won and a guy on the Korn Ferry shot a 57 with them.
Scanning GolfWrx, I see pxg irons in tour mixed bags quite often.

You don’t have to buy it. TrackMan and tour pros made it known. Howell had his best “ball striking” rounds and won weeks after a switch. He talked about distance control. The better the ball striker the worse the irons are for them. Korn ferry guys aren’t Pgatour caliber ball strikers. They miss 5mm compared to 2.
Looking at their site, they have 9 staffers who hold a Pgatour card with points good enough to play each week. That’s down from 14 in 2021.
