The politician knew what he was doing: feeding red meat to the sheep portion of his constituency who are incapable of doing a little research and trying to understand nuance (like the fact that LSU football and basketball teams aren't routinely out for the national anthem and haven't been for decades). Mulkey just happened to be a political casualty. There's a greater chance of Caitlin Clark not being the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft than there is that Landry will apologize. There are no good politicians. There are just politicians who are not as awful as others. Sad commentary when this governor, as awful as he has revealed himself on this situation, is still a massive improvement over the socialist who just left office after 8 years.
Thank you fellow USL alum. This guy didn’t realize what he did until his arse was exposed. He lost and she won. If she ran for governor, she would wipe the floor with his sorry arse. She is FAR more intelligent than that idiot.
If that idiot was smart he would have followed the political practices of John Breaux. He was one of the few Democrats I voted for because he was a conservative / moderate. Yes, I know that he did graduate from both USL and LSU.
So nobody is perfect.
