Just stand for the anthem. It’s not that hard. If you really feel there is a better country for you, go live there. If i were in charge, i would give those who feel this country isnt for them $1000 to head elsewhere but it’s a one way trip and if said persons want to come back, they will need to either provide 8 years of service in our military (for those able), and those that are not able will have to pay $20,000 to be allowed back.

I’m about respecting the flag, taking your hat off, etc.

Logistically speaking, what about the football team who is never on the field for the anthem? Are they exempt? Have to change their pre-game routine?

Of all the issues that we face in LA, this not only isn’t the bill to die in, it’s not even the right one to run up.
