are y’all collecting seed and re sowing or just letting them seed themselves? Makes sense that they will re seed in grand isle, similar poor soils with lots of calcium as in hill country. The Edwards plateau in Texas used to be a sea bed

Lost a bunch after Ida. Between erosion and running equipment around the yard. I spend a day every year collecting seed at a spot away from my camp. . Also wait until the seeds start popping to cut near me. I have collected two jars the last two years. They are supposed to fix the levee on the whole island and cap it with sand. I plan on seeding up my levee this year if they finally get it done.
