We have a rule of thumb in jiu jitsu that for every 20 pounds of body weight you can add one color belt so lets say a 200 pound Blue Belt is rolling with a 180 pound Purple Belt then using that analogy they would be the same. Not really sure that is an apples and apples comparison for a male versus female scenario but I would think one of our legit Browns/Black Belt females would have their way with an untrained dude at the same weight level.

A big dude with some muscle mass versus them, probably not gonna happen. It’s like when the World’s Strongest Man Brian Shaw who is 6’7”/400 pounds but no MMA training rolled with Dustin Poirer, obviously Brian got tapped but he said he never felt that he couldn’t just sling Dustin around like a rag doll if it was a shite hit the fan situation.

in a shite hit the fan situation Dustin would just make Shaw chase him and after a minute or 2 Shaw would be dead tired and helpless

This is spot on, this can also apply to age. I’ve been tapped plenty of times by brown belts who are 15-20 years younger than me but a brown belt who is closer to my age and weight (I’m a purple belt) I can do a lot more and I’m more competitive. My reaction and speed and decision make are a lot faster when someone has more experience and are in their physical prime
