I watch Japanese TV and movies and I see what America used to value:

Encouraging excellence and education in young people.

Honor and decency in treating with others.

Respect and care for elderly.

Innovation and working as a team.

Belief in something bigger than yourself.

At the same time, I look at what we've been producing for our children at the same time and I see a popular culture that promotes punishing achievement, promoting division, rage at the elderly, racial division and favoritism, aggressive humanism and suspicion of anything spiritual, selfishness, romanticizing crime and brutality, sarcasm and mockery as humor...

The left likes to promote "culture", well that's what they're building and it's intentional. Japan cares a little more about their people and it shows.
