I had a two day ordeal when I was a kid in Hawaii. Went to the beach, stepped on a man-o-war (hurt like hell) and I got a coral cut on my foot. When I got home, Mom sprayed fricking aerosol Lysol on the coral cut. I didn't get an infection, but it hurt a lot. Then, the next morning, I was getting these berries off a tree (we called them grape seeds bu tthey weren't grapes). I reached in to pull out a group of the fruit and came back with a wasp nest - the wasps laid into me.
