Combined you could probably fire every one. Those vp’s and presidents and board members and it would raise people’s pay by around $200/year, or <$4/week assuming you work 52 weeks.
Look, I agree that the discrepancy between CEO and the median salaries has ballooned to preposterous levels in my opinion, but that’s not going to help. Corporations (meaning public ally owned and controlled businesses) see the profits and cannot accept prolonged decreases in profitability and profit.
The stock market won’t accept it nor will banks nor any other financial institution.
