First off I don't have any answers and I'm not an expert, just someone who lives in Louisiana and pays a good bit of taxes. It seems like the state has very ambitious plan most of which stop taxes (eliminating break tags, concealed weapons permits, and personal income taxes) while wanting to give money away for private schools and turning down some fed money (which most of it has dem strings tied to it). I don't see how they can reduce the money the state takes in without reducing our spending. And if you think reducing tax breaks is the answer, those benefiting from those tax breaks (who are also big donors to the politicians) will claim that it will kill businesses
