Would you send your kids to Harris or Dallas County schools?

I choose not to live in those school districts so my children don't go there - I gladly pay high property taxes because I see those dollars at work in my kids schools - here people move to certain areas knowing they will get higher taxes but their kids will be better off for it because those taxes don't go into some statewide slush fund - that part always gets left out of this, and as a LA native, took me a while to grasp - it matters

Houston ISD or Dallas ISD are just 2 within the counties. Is that what you mean? Katy ISD is in Harris County as an example. Huge difference.
