I have Foremost. House in Baton Rouge. Last year, my premium was $2,603.55. Renewal for this year up to $3,956.13. Have a 2% hurricane deductible.
Dwelling coverage last year: $474,200 - premium $2,550
Dwelling coverage this year: $507,400 - premium $3,850

dang. The value of your house went up 7% but the premium to cover it went up 35% ? guess its just not valuations of homes that are increasing HOI rates.
