I want to go hit on a sim to track data on my swing, but don't want to get a full club fitting yet. I see the new surge has a sim. Where else can I go to just hit balls on a sim and not be bothered or sold stuff?

The one in Lafayette is pretty good, I'm assuming this one is about the same.

There is one on Hwy 16 in Denham Springs called The Gym, its a bar slash activity place. But its just a trackman.

There is another place in Covington that I haven't been to yet. I think its like a bar and grill with sims

May try Golftec. I'm not sure how they structure the practice time. Like for members or random public.

It's not great. You get this soft golf ball. I m assuming so you don't break anything. From 9 iron to 6 iron they traveled almost the same distance. Wasn't very accurate at all. Normal 8i for me is between 150 and 160. Was only registering 125. Schneider's is a much better place to go if you are looking for data. To goof off and have fun try surge. It's a very different simulator it allows you to play football soccer and the multitude of sports. Probably why golf portion isn't accurate
