Way too much IMO is made about "starting". What counts is playing time. And LSU starters should not be playing about 35 minutes out of 40. That has been the entire depth issue. For example, get say an Amoore or someone else as "starting" PG. Van Lith could be a "breather" PG, play scoring guard some which is supposed to be her position, etc. It is not remotely a numbers game IMO. LSU doesn't even have a large number of players committed for this class/transfer portal. I believe it is just Richard from LA HS and Jersey the transfer from Arkansas as of now. And I think LSU will lose one of the TR FR who hardly played this season.

Why would someone who was a #1 option, who came here to prove herself at a new position, then take a backseat to a guard of the same build, who can already play the position, in their last year? That makes no sense. I said HVL should leave. I didn't say to the WNBA though.

First, Hailey must realize she is never going to be a PG. She doesn't dribble well enough, have never seen her drive to the basket, etc. So the answer is she made a mistake thinking she could translate her game to being a PG. As far as going WNBA goes, I do agree with you. She isn't going to make it into the pros unless she gets better. She is a bulldog defensively but a fast guard can still drive around her. I refer you to the first half of the Middle Tennessee State game.
